A community within a community, chavurah (Hebrew for “friendship group”) allows members to form a more intimate family based on compatible needs and interests. Members meet to hang a mezuzah on a new home, go to a Jewish museum or celebrate birthdays. It is a wonderful way to get to know others and to build lasting friendships and enhance your experience as a Temple member.
How do I join a chavurah?
Download our Chavurah Questionnaire and return it to the TBT office. You will be contacted soon afterwards. New chavurot are formed on the basis of age, children, spheres of interest, etc. You will be placed in a chavurah if there is a current opening that matches your interests or a new group conducive to your needs.
