TBT’s Passover Co-Op, volunteers, and staff collaborated to bring you a wide variety of community celebrations.

Here is what we achieved together:

Over 25 families participated in our city-wide, interactive Afikoman Scavenger Hunt. A special thanks to Marty Baker-JordanMike & Evelyn BellLisa & Craig MarderBen & Phyllis Berkley, and TBT teachers for their dedication to make this event possible.

About 90 households received a matzah mitzvah gift bag funded by a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation Orange County. A special thanks to Teri Applebaum, Alyse Kirschen, Evelyn Bell, Sheri Weitzman, Miriam Van Raalte, Lynette Northcutt, Ronnie Sue Henderson, and those who volunteered to deliver packages. Your volunteerism made an important impact in our community.

34 households received Passover meals sponsored by TBT’s Caring Community Committee. Thank you to Miriam Van Raalte and the Caring Community Committee for organizing this outreach.

Over 40 people joined on Zoom with 500 views across social media for our Songs of Freedom Family Service which featured musical contributions from ECLC & Chavaya children. Click here to watch our Songs of Freedom Family Service

Over 30 households connected to TBT’s 2nd Night Seder on Zoom which hosted guests from Northern & Southern California, New York, and Mexico. A special thank you to all who participated in readings during the night, and to Rachel White and Gabrielle Newman for leading this community Seder.

Over 60 individuals came together on TBT’s campus in a safe way to participate in the various in-person activities offered, which included: Torah Study, Passover Shabbat Service, Family Hike and Picnic Lunch. A special thank you to Fred & Cindy Jacobson for leading Torah Study, Zack & Jordan Richter for their sound and technical management, Marv Goodman and Mike & Evelyn Bell for their assistance with set-up, and Itai Armony and Ana Bane for leading the family hike. $20,264 raised by TBT’s anJie Passover campaign to provide money for impoverished Jews in Ethiopia to celebrate Passover. A special thank you to Rabbi Art Levine, the anJie Committee, and all who donated to help meet the $20,000 goal.
